Lost and looking Metis

2Bears,
I know of many metis people online, they know thier Native ancestry,
but due to their mixed blood are not welcome in thier original Nations.
Many are near you, and have no community to call their own.
I bring this to you, as I do not believe that ONLY "Red River" folks
are Metis, there are many more of us searching for our place within
Our Communities.
Who do I contact "south of the imaginary line" on these peoples behalf?
In Sisterhood,
Michelle

  1. Form a line and come to me here in the MNUS site. We are open to all Metis who know who they are and want to join with others. We will not turn any away from either side of the border. MNUS has been around for these past 25+ years and have held up a good program towards recognition by the U.S. Government as well as slowly trying to work with the OAS in an effort to be called a People by the Joint nations of North and South America. Michelle, offer them a solution to their frustration and come here for some relief. We have not solved the problem but we do have a heart as big and THE PEOPLE who wishes to join and be active in something ongoing as well as activities through out our land in small groups as well as trying to put together regional Activities, all in a drug and booze free environment. Thanks for the opportunity to spout off about who and what we are. R Two Bears
